What this is
Approval Rating (approvalrating.net) is a tool for small groups to run approval ballots and count them. It is run by WeldonPC (weldonpc.com).
Not for public or official elections
Do not use it for public elections or for any vote the law or your organisation's rules require to be run a certain way. It is not a certified voting system. Open links run on trust (one vote per browser); voter codes limit one vote per code. We do not check who voters are.
Your ballots
You are responsible for what you put on a ballot and who you share it with. Do not use ballots to harass anyone, to collect other people's personal information, or for anything unlawful. We may delete ballots that break these terms. Anyone holding a voting link can vote and may see results, depending on the setting you choose.
Your private desk link
Your Organiser Desk opens with a private link. Anyone holding it can open, change or delete your desk, so keep it safe. We cannot recover a lost link: we store only a scrambled form of it.
Payments
The Organiser Pass costs $1.95 a month or $19.50 a year, paid through PayPal once payments are switched on. During the preview nothing is charged. You can cancel at any time in PayPal; the Pass runs to the end of the paid period. Refunds for a period already started are not given except where the law requires.
No warranty
The tool counts exactly as the How it works page says, and we test it, but it is provided as is. We are not liable for decisions made with it. Desks unopened for 400 days are deleted with their ballots.
